Overseas Windsurfing Clinics
Fun, social, holiday coaching - Simon’s overseas windsurfing and wingfoiling clinics currently take place in Tobago in the Caribbean and Prasonisi on the Greek Island of Rhodes. These locations have been specially selected to provide a solid learning platform in warm water with the best prospect of reliable winds. These clinics are ideal for intermediate and early-advanced riders, regular and occasional participants and those who have been away from their sport for a while and want to be guided back into it feeling confident on modern equipment. Participants will either join as windsurfers or wingfoilers. Taking part in both disciplines may be possible for an additional cost to cover the usage of both types of equipment.

The 2026 TOBAGO CLINIC (dates TBC January 2026) takes place in the flat water paradise venue of Pigeon Point, Tobago. The conditions are excellent for intermediate and advanced windsurfers, with very reliable wind stats for January. On a good day, mainly from December through to June, the conditions are some of the finest in the Caribbean. The launch is from the Pigeon Point National park. It is protected by Bucco Reef which lies up to one and half miles off one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. Inside the vast lagoon, the flat, crystal clear, shallow water is a sailor's dream. The wind is steady side-shore from the left making it easy to plane out and return.
The 2025 RHODES CLINICS (13 - 20 September & 20 - 27 September) will take place in the stunning flat water venue of Prasonisi, Southern Rhodes. The conditions are excellent for intermediate and advanced windsurfers, with very reliable wind stats. The prevailing wind is accelerated by the local ‘Venturi' system as it squeezes between the land masses. The clinics are run on the flat-water side of the beach. The wind has a cross-off direction, meaning that setting off and blasting back towards the beach for carve gybes is done in really flat water.
Intermediate and advanced windsurfers will thrive on these clinics. Simon will be working with the group across a range of skills including kit setup and tuning, beach & water starts, getting going, planing, going fast & control at speed, harness & footstraps, tacking, carve gybes non-planing gybes, improving success rate on manoeuvres etc. Other more advanced skills can be covered as required, such as upwind/downwind 360s, duck gybes, body drags, chop hops and more. In the event of lighter winds, achievable freestyle on larger boards will help to improve technique. There will be loads of improvements that Simon can help you with as well as new ideas and moves to try.
Simon will be making use of shore-based learning to support the on-water sessions. Coaching includes use of video coaching and photos to enable your technique to be analysed. Expect to participate at your own pace on the water and to enjoy relaxing at all other times.
