RYA Wingsurf & Wingfoil Instructor Training
We run RYA Wingsurf and Wingfoil Instructor courses at our fully-equipped wing school in Surrey at Queen Mary Sailing Club. The large, deep expanse of water (700 acres) is raised high above the landscape and has great wind stats - making it the ideal place for RYA Wingsurf and Wingfoil Instructor training. The RYA Wing Instructor courses that Simon can deliver are as follows.
Wingsurf Instructor
A 3-day moderated course to enable suitably experienced candidates to introduce people to winging on a non-foiling board (such as a windsurf board with a daggerboard or a SUP with a centre fin or drift-stoppers) and to develop their wingsurfing skills.
Wingfoil Instructor
A 2-day un-moderated course to enable existing RYA Wingsurf Instructors to upgrade. This qualification is to introduce people to winging on a foiling board and to develop their wingfoiling skills.
Combined Wingsurf and Wingfoil Instructor
A 5-day course (moderated on Day 3 of the Wingsurf section) to enable suitably experienced candidates to introduce people to winging on non-foiling and foiling boards and to develop their wingsurfing and wingfoiling skills.
